QUALITY CONTROL
The quality
control for the installation is the joint
responsibility of the project manager and
superintendent. The project manager and
superintendent assure the quality of the
construction process by the following actions:

• thoroughly familiarizing the team with the
plans, specifications and contract documents
• acquainting the team with the construction
site, special conditions, general
contractors requirements and other related
issues
• selecting the proficient lead mechanic for the
type system being installed
• coordinating interface efforts with other
subcontractors
• providing qualified and sufficient manpower
for the lead mechanic
• inspecting the project no less than once per
week, and more often during critical phases of
the construction process
• ensuring strict compliance with contract
documents, industry trade practices, building
codes and certifying agencies
• identifying and ensuring the implementation of
any required corrective measures during the
construction process
